Ersta elderly homes are part of Ersta diakoni and operate elderly homes in Stockholm and Uppsala. Our goal is to provide our residents with a safe and meaningful everyday life, with activities, community, and good and pleasant meals. With us, everyone should feel at home!

From February 2026, Ersta diakoni will take over the operation of Johanneslund elderly home in Västerhaninge. Johanneslund is a modern and cozy elderly home with 96 apartments, located in a nature-friendly environment in Västerhaninge. Here we want to create a safe and meaningful everyday life for the residents – with meaningful activities, community, and good meals.

About the Role

As a nurse with us, you will plan, execute, and develop care work. Based on individual goals and needs, you will have close collaboration with residents, relatives, care staff, and other colleagues/managers. You will also act as a coach and team leader for the care staff and be responsible for nursing for one department.

The position is a permanent employment of at least 85%. Working hours are scheduled during the day with weekend work tentatively every fifth weekend.

Your Experience

We are looking for someone who:

• is a licensed nurse

• has good knowledge of the Swedish language in speech and writing

• has good computer skills.

We would also like you to have experience working in elderly care and with individuals with cognitive impairments.

Other Information about the Recruitment

• Start date according to agreement.
